Hero Honda Feb sales up 24%; stock down 0.5%

MUMBAI: Shares of Hero Honda edged lower on Monday despite registering 24 per cent rise in February sales in its two-wheeler segment.

Hero Honda Motors��� February sales of motorcycles and scooters stood at 329,055 vehicles as against 265,431 vehicles a year earlier.

Hero Honda Motors, 26 per cent-owned by Japan's Honda Motor Co, is India's top motorbike maker.

At noon, the company���s shares were down 0.56 per cent at Rs 921.40, easing from a high of Rs 931 in trade so far.
