Heard on the Street: New sales head seen at Tata Mutual Fund

Hitungshu Debnath is learnt to be joining Tata Mutual Fund, as its head of sales and marketing. He will replace Emron Samuel, who quit the fund house last year. Debnath was not available for comment.

He was the head of distribution and wealth management at Angel Broking.

Prior to this, Debnath was director of wealth management business at Motilal Oswal Financial Services, before the broking firm listed in 2007 and head of sales at HDFC Mutual Fund. He quit Motilal Oswal in 2008 after the broking firm’s listing.
