HDFC MF raises KPTL stake to 7.38 per cent

NEW DELHI: Kalapataru Power Transmission Ltd ( KPTL) today said HDFC Mutual Fund has increased its stake in the company by 2.34 per cent to 7.38 per cent after acquiring its shares from the open market.

"There has been increase in the shareholding of the company by the Schemes of HDFC Mutual Fund by 2.34 per cent as on December 29, 2015... the aggregate holding of the Schemes of HDFC Mutual Fund in the company is 7.38 per cent," KPTL said in a BSE filing.

Before the transaction, the schemes of HDFC Mutual Fund had 77,39,500 shares carrying voting rights which increased to 1,13,18,493 after the open market purchase, it added.
