Gulf Oil Corp to develop IT park
Gulf Oil Corporation shares soar over 4 per cent on receiving approval from the Karnataka Udyog Mitra to build an IT park on its 40 acres plot at Yellahanka.
The approved master plan is for a total area of 5 million square feet. The facility is situated on the Bangalore-Hyderabad highway.
The company has also announced the development of a knowledge city at Hyderabad spread over 100 acres. This plan has been conceptualised and necessary approvals have been sought from the government of Andhra Pradesh.
At 11:09 am, Gulf Oil shares were up 4.5 per cent at Rs 319.25 on BSE.
