GSPL gains as PNGRB revises zone-wise tariff

Shares of Gujarat State Petronet Ltd closed higher on Tuesday after the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board revised zone-wise tariff for it.

MUMBAI: Shares of Gujarat State Petronet Ltd closed higher on Tuesday after the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) revised zone-wise tariff for the company.

PNGRB has revised tariff for zone 1 at Rs 18.5 /scm vs proposed Rs 19/scm, tariff for zone 2 is now Rs 27.8 per unit vs proposed Rs 28.57/scm and for zone 3, tariff stands at Rs 37.02/scm vs. proposed Rs 38.04/scm.

However, analysts have mixed opinion on its impact on the company’s financials.

While a domestic brokerage note said it doesn’t see any incremental impact of the same, another brokerage note said it expects 15-20 per cent upside in the company’s earnings.

The stock ended at Rs 73.20, up 2.59 per cent, on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 73.95 and a low of Rs 71.20 in trade today.
