Graphite, HEG among top gainers on BSE
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 29 shares were trading in the green, while 20 were in the red.

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 116.08 points up at 36,434.41 on Wednesday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Majestic Auto (up 20 per cent) , Speciality Restaurants (up 20.00 per cent) , Emmessar Biotech (up 17.43 per cent) , Ansal Properties (up 14.86 per cent) , Graphite India (up 12.57 per cent) , Seamec (up 11.58 per cent) , Balaji Telefilms (up 10.53 per cent) , Vertex Securities (up 10.29 per cent) , Dhoot Industries (up 10.16 per cent) and Ansal Housing (up 10 per cent) were among the top performers.
HEG (up 9.15 per cent) and Balaji Telefilms (up 8.92 per cent) too were trading around 78 per cent higher at around the same time.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 29.95 points up at 10,916.75.
