Goldstone to get content from Echelon
Goldstone Technologies has entered into an agreement with US-based Echelon Studios to boost its library for its video-on-demand subscribers.
Echelon Studios will provide Goldstone with more than 3,500 video titles. These include movies, cartoons and sitcoms. The agreement is for five years on revenue-sharing basis.
Goldstone will offer the movie-on-demand services along with the internet protocol television service initially in India, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Hong Kong and Singapore, the company said in a notice to BSE.
Recently, the company entered into an alliance with Shemaroo for access to more than 600 Hindi and other Indian regional movies and other video content.
At 10:18 am, the Goldstone Technologies share was up 0.65% at Rs 124.45 with volume traded at 17,031 against two-week average of 1,11,891 shares.
