GMO buys Himachal Futuristic shares, sells Gateway Distriparks stake

Mumbai: Funds of Boston-based GMO LLC bought shares of Himachal Futuristic Communications on Wednesday and sold stake in Gateway Distriparks.

Bulk deal data on National Stock Exchange of India's website showed Grantham Mayo Van Otterloo-Emerging Markets Quality Fund bought 1.1 crore shares or 0.89% stake in Himachal Futuristic at Rs 23.92 per share. The name of the seller could not be ascertained.

Shares of Himachal Futuristic ended in the 20% upper circuit at Rs 25.60 on the BSE on Wednesday, which is also its 52-week high.

GMO Emerging Domestic Opportunities Fund sold 12.62 lakh shares or 1.16% in Gateway Distriparks at Rs 219.67 per share. The fund held 1.2% stake in Gateway Distriparks at the end of the June quarter. The buyer's name could not be ascertained. Shares of Gateway Distriparks ended down 2.1% at Rs 215.90 on the BSE on Wednesday.
