Global Impact Fintech (GIFT) Forum has expanded its footprint with representation from 35 countries. It was formed as an international think tank that regularly deliberated on issues related to fintech and emerging digital financial services.

It aims to be a representative and collaborative forum for the fintech ecosystem, to help drive financial, social and tech Inclusion across the world.

“GIFT Foundation is committed to fostering global ecosystem development and collaboration. It operates on the 3 Cs of community, collaboration and Causes (impact). We are growing our chapter and domains in various regions, and hope to be a unified and meaningful voice for the fintech and digital community globally. In line with this vision, we announce the launch of our South Asia Chapter, with leaders from the ecosystem,” said Malik Khan Kotadia, the founding Chairman of GIFT.

Knowledge sharing, capacity building, empowerment, networking and growth, standardisation and engagement are the six focus areas of GIFT.

“I have been part of this group since a long time now. It is taking shape as a global umbrella organisation for fintech,” said JA Chowdhary, Chairman, Blockchain standards Committee and Advisor to GIFT.
