Glenmark gets USFDA nod for Mupirocin; stock up

MUMBAI: Glenmark Generics, a subsidiary of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, has received final approval from the USFDA for Mupirocin ointment. The drug is indicated for the topical treatment of impetigo due to Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes.

The stock was at Rs 313.90, up 1.72 per cent on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 316.70 and low of Rs 309 in trade so far.
