GlaxoSmithkline Consumer, Glenmark, UB gain ahead of F&O inclusion

MUMBAI: Shares of GlaxoSmithkline Consumer Healthcare, Glenmark and United Breweries moved higher in a weak market ahead of inclusion in futures and options (F&O) market.

The NSE will include GlaxoSmithkline Consumer Healthcare, United Breweries and Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, in F&O segment from Thursday, 3 October 2013.

Stocks that enter the F&O segment move higher in absence of circuit filters and increased institutional participation.

At 12:20 p.m.; GlaxoSmithkline Consumer Healthcare was up 3.01 per cent, United Breweries gained 1.13 per cent and Glenmark Pharmaceuticals was up 1.78 per cent.
