Shares of Gammon India rose nearly 6 per cent after it received a project worth Rs 400 crore from Punatsangchhu Hydro Electricity Project in Bhutan.

MUMBAI: Shares of Gammon India rose nearly 6 per cent after it received a project worth Rs 400 crore from Punatsangchhu Hydro Electricity Project in Bhutan.

The contract was for the construction of approximately 7500 meter long Head Race Tunnel (HRT) at Wangdue, approx. 80 kms. from Thimpu, Bhutan.

At 10:55 am, the company���s shares surged 5.52 per cent to Rs 75 on the BSE.
