Gammon India plunges over 7% on BSE

Shares of Gammon India on Tuesday fell over seven per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange following an accident at a Delhi Metro site for which the company is the contractor.

MUMBAI: Shares of Gammon India on Tuesday fell over seven per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange following an accident at a Delhi Metro site for which the company is the contractor. Gammon India closed at Rs 153.60 on BSE, down by 7.25 over the previous close.

It had plunged to an intra-day low of 149.60, down 9.66 per cent. On the National Stock Exchange, the scrip dipped by 6.99 per cent to close at Rs 153.75.

The scrip fell to the day''s low at Rs 146.95. On the volume front, over 28.4 lakh shares got traded on both the bourses.

Six persons were killed and 15 others injured when an under-construction bridge of the Delhi Metro collapsed in the national capital on Sunday.
