GAIL slips nearly 2% after explosion at pipeline
Shares of GAIL were down 1.8% in the trade on Friday as sentiment turned bearish following an explosion at a pipeline in Andhra Pradesh.

According to reports, at least 11 people are feared killed and 15 suffered burn injuries in a big explosion at pipeline at Nagaram village in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh today morning.
"I have spoken to the Petroleum Minister, Cabinet Secretary & GAIL Chairman and asked them to ensure immediate relief at the accident site," tweeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
At 09:40 a.m.; the stock was at Rs 459, down 0.16 per cent, on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 461.05 and a low of Rs 451.25 in trade today.
