GAIL jumps as board to consider bonus issue

NEW DELHI: GAIL India rallied over 3 per cent in mid-morning trade on Thursday after the company announced that it will consider a bonus issue next week.

At 11:30 am; GAIL was trading 2.4 per cent higher at Rs 449.90.

"The board of directors of GAIL (India) is scheduled to meet on Wednesday, 25 January to consider issuance of bonus shares and fundraising by issuance of bonds on private placement basis," GAIL said in a press release.
