Mumbai: Lavanya Mundayur, CMD of Agriculture Insurance Company of India, is recommended as the next chief of New India Assurance Company Limited (NIACL) according to an official statement by Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB). The bureau interviewed six eligible candidates on May 28 for the position. Mundayur, 57, will have about a three-year term and retire from the position in May 2029 after turning 60.
