Firstcry, Reliance Power, 20 more stocks included in Nifty Smallcap 100. Check full list

A clutch of 22 stocks found their way into the Nifty Smallcap 100 index as part of the semi-annual reshuffle in the Nifty indices. Among the stocks are Firstcry operator Brainbees Solutions, Afcons Infrastructure, Anant Raj, Delhivery and Devyani International. Among the notable omissions were Zee Entertainment Enterprises, NMDC Steel, Jyothy Labs and Central Bank of India.

The decision comes after the meeting of the NSE Sub-Committee which was scheduled today. These changes will become effective from March 28, 2025 i.e. close of March 27, 2025.

Nifty's various indices undergo a semi-annual rebalancing by NSE Indices, a subsidiary of India’s largest stock exchange. The process follows a structured timeline, with January 31 and July 31 serving as the cut-off dates each year. Stocks are evaluated based on their average performance over the preceding six months, ensuring the index reflects the latest market dynamics. NSE Indices provides a four-week advance notice before implementing any changes, allowing market participants to adjust accordingly.

Apart from the above mentioned stocks, the others are Godfrey Phillips India, Himadri Speciality Chemical, IDBI Bank, International Gemmological Institute (India), Inventurus Knowledge Solutions, Kfin Technologies, Neuland Laboratories, Newgen Software Technologies, Nuvama Wealth Management, PCBL Chemical, PG Electroplast, Poonawalla Fincorp, Reliance Power, Sagility India, Tata Chemicals, Welspun Corp and Zen Technologies.

Other exclusions are 360 ONE WAM, Aavas Financiers, Apar Industries, Blue Star, Chennai Petroleum Corporation, Finolex Cables, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC), Happiest Minds Technologies, Intellect Design Arena, Jammu & Kashmir Bank, National Aluminium Company (NALCO), NMDC Steel, Olectra Greentech, Raymond, RBL Bank, Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy, Tanla Platforms and UCO Bank.
