Eye on Nifty: FCS Software, Kavveri Telecom plunge over 5% intraday

NEW DELHI: Selling in frontline bluechip counters hit the market on Friday afternoon as the benchmark equity index BSE Sensex lost 66.79 points and was trading at 29,580.63 mark.

On the NSE, FCS Software (down 16.67 per cent), REI Six Retail (down 12.50 per cent), Northgate Com (down 7.69 per cent), Gangotri Text (down 7.14 per cent), Kaushalya Infra (down 6.78 per cent), Kavveri Telecom (down 6.29 per cent), and Salona Cotspin (down 5.00 per cent) were trading over 5 per cent down around 12.40 pm (IST).

The Nifty50 index was down 12.70 points at 9,161.05 around the same time. In the 50-share pack, 26 stocks were trading in the green, while 25 were in the red.

Shares of FCS Software, Gangotri Text, KSK Energy Vent, PTL Enterprises, Network18 Media, Unity Infraproj, ANG Industries, Sharon Bio-Med, Shekhawati Poly, Raj Rayon hit their fresh 52-week low, while Murudeshwar Cera, Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore, Madras Fert, Rash Chem Fert, Future Lifestyle, Technocraft Ind, LT Foods, Chambal Fert, and Visaka Ind touched their fresh 52-week high.
