Nifty at 10k: For market veterans it's like first love

I am Saloni Goel and this is a special Podcast from ETMarkets.com on Nifty hitting the crucial level of 10,000 for the first time ever.

The 50-stock Nifty index topped the 10,000 mark for the first time ever on Tuesday, making history and marking the symbolic high point of the recent bull run.

While the index pulled back soon after, giving credence to projections that said the market was waiting for profit booking once the Nifty scales the psychological barrier, other analysts insisted that this market rally would not halt so soon.

As Dalal Street celebrated this high point, we meet market veterans to get their first reaction to Nifty hitting the 10,000 mark and also to get their outlook for the market in the near term.
