Eros International on a roll

The stock of movie production house and distributor Eros International Media jumped close to 7% in the past two trad ing sessions to Rs 260.

The company was in the news after expressing its plans to file a case against single screen theatres for breaching their contract of release in case of its lat est star-studded release, Bajirao Mastani.

However, the Bombay High Court declared that the produc tion house cannot restrict single screen theatres from releasing Dilwale, a film that is competing with Bajirao Mastani. The stock is expected to show volatility during the week depending upon the trade reports about the film.
