Empee Distilleries loses over 20% on debut
Shares of Empee Distilleries ended at Rs 317.90, discount of 20.50 per cent or Rs 81.10, against issue price of Rs 400 on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

MUMBAI: Shares of Empee Distilleries ended at Rs 317.90, discount of 20.50 per cent or Rs 81.10, against issue price of Rs 400 on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The share touched an intra-day high of Rs 489 and low of Rs 301 with volume of 51,45,595 shares.
On the NSE, it settled at Rs 316, down 21 per cent or Rs 84. It made a high of Rs 479 and low of Rs 303.10 on the exchange. Around 58,38,274 shares were traded in the counter.
Empee Distilleries manufactures various Indian-made-foreign-liquors in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. It also has a wind mill energy plant in Coimbatore. The company owns 20.88 acres of land at Kanchipuram.
