Emami net grows 5 per cent to ₹144 crore despite weak demand

NEW DELHI: Homegrown FMCG major Emami Ltd on Friday reported a 5% increase in its consolidated net profit at ₹144.44 crore for the third quarter, helped by rise in gross margins and cost control measures, against a net profit of ₹137.54 crore a year ago, said a BSE filing.

Total income was ₹828.22 crore, up 1.02% from ₹819.83 crore.
