Emami Ltd surges over 4% on rise in Q1 net profit
Emami Ltd surged as much as 4.5% on Monday after the FMCG firm reported a 16.69% increase in its consolidated net profit.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 60.68 crore during the same period of previous fiscal.
Net sales of the company rose to Rs 481.73 crore for the first quarter, 25.6 per cent up as against Rs 383.65 crore during the same period of previous financial year, Emami Ltd said in a statement.
"Strong performance by all our power brands in key categories helped us to meet the challenges in the operating environment and register a 25.6 per cent topline growth.
"Consumer sentiment and demand for our products continued to be good and robust both in modern and general trade," Emami Director Mohan Goenka told PTI.
