Electrosteel Castings shares tank
On the NSE, it plunged 19.89 per cent to Rs 15.10. Shares of Electrosteel Steels fell by 13.27 per cent to Rs 4.05 at the BSE.

MUMBAI: Shares of Electrosteel Castings and Electrosteel Steels closed the day with sharp losses amid fresh concerns regarding alleged irregularities in the allocation of coal blocks.
CBI had yesterday carried out searches at five locations in Jharkhand and West Bengal after registering a fresh case in connection with alleged irregularities in the allocation of coal blocks.
According to CBI sources, the case has been registered against Electrosteel Castings Limited, Electrosteel Steels Pvt Limited and unknown public servants in connection with allocation of Parbatpur coal block in Jharkhand in 2005 for its pig iron plant.
Electrosteel Castings' stock settled 10.37 per cent lower at Rs 16.85 on the BSE. During the day, it plunged 19.94 per cent to Rs 15.05.
Shares of Electrosteel Steels tumbled 7.07 per cent to close at Rs 4.34. In intra-day session, it slipped 13.27 per cent to Rs 4.05.
