Eicher Motors Q4 net profit zooms 34% YoY to Rs 459.44 crore

NEW DELHI: Eicher Motors on Friday reported 33.91 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 459.44 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 against Rs 343.10 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

ETNow poll had predicted a net profit of Rs 465 crore for the quarter under review.

Consolidated total income from operations of the manufacturer of Royal Enfield jumped 23.34 per cent on a year-on-year basis to Rs 2,132.54 crore against Rs 1728.99 crore in the same quarter last year.

The board has recommended a dividend of Rs 100 per share of face value of Rs 10 each. The dividend shall be paid within 30 days from the date of approval of shareholders in the 35th Annual General Meeting on August 8.

Share price of the company closed 0.28 per cent up at Rs 25,837.45 on Friday.
