Shares of Educomp Solutions picked up steam after the company an order worth Rs 83.82 crore to provide computer-aided learning in schools in the western state of Gujarat.

MUMBAI: Shares of Educomp Solutions picked up steam after the company an order worth Rs 83.82 crore to provide computer-aided learning in schools in the western state of Gujarat.

Under the 5-year contract, Educomp will provide hardware, software, manpower, teacher-training and system maintenance services for 1,780 schools in the state.

At 2 pm, the company���s shares surged 3.57 per cent to Rs 2509.75 on the BSE.
