Dolphin Offshore gains 5% after consortium receives new order

Shares of Dolphin Offshore Enterprises (India) climbed over 4 per cent on Tuesday after the company announced that a consortium of the company has won a Rs 154.03-crore order from ONGC.

The scrip ended 4.43 per cent higher at Rs 87.20 on BSE. Shares of the company opened at Rs 90.95 and touched a high and low of Rs 91.60 and Rs 85.50, respectively.

The consortium - HAL Offshore, Dolphin Offshore Enterprises (India) and JK Surface Coatings - have received the notification of award of contract for protective coating of wellhead platforms project-I from ONGC.


Shares of the company had hit 52-week high of Rs 158 on January 11, 2018 and 52-week low of Rs 72.80 on August 11, 2017.

For the quarter ended December 31, 2017, the company posted a net loss of Rs 8.01 crore as compared with net loss of Rs 0.25 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
