Divi's Labs surges 4% as company reports successful inspection of Vizag plant by USFDA

NEW DELHI: Shares of Divi's Laboratories closed lower by 0.46 per cent after surging up to 4 per cent as the company reported that US health regulator has conducted a successful inspection of its Unit-2 facility at Visakhapatnam this month.

In reaction to the development, the scrip gained 3.62 per cent to hit a high of Rs 1029.90 on the BSE.

"The company has had a successful inspection by the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for its Unit-2 at Chippada, Bheemunipatnam near Visakhapatnam during February, 2016 with no observations," Divis Laboratories said in a filing to BSE.
