Divi's Laboratories Ltd. shares up 11.72% as Nifty gains

NEW DELHI: Shares of Divi's Laboratories Ltd. traded 11.72 per cent up in Monday's trade at 10:00AM (IST). Around 79,788 shares changed hands on the counter.

The counter opened at Rs 3062.0 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 3201.85 and Rs 3062.0, respectively, in the session so far. The stock of Divi's Laboratories Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 3201.85 and a 52-week low of Rs 1466.95.

Total market cap of the Divi's Laboratories Ltd. stood at Rs 83183.25 crore at the time of writing this report.


Key Financials
The company reported consolidated net sales of Rs 1389.71 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2020, down 0.47 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 1396.26 crore and down 9.67 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 1267.13 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 388.23 crore, up 32.97 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.

Shareholding pattern
As of 30-Jun-2020, domestic institutional investors held 15.57 per cent stake in the firm, while foreign institutional investors held 18.17 per cent and the promoters 51.97 per cent.


Valuation ratio
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a P/E multiple of 60.43 and a price-to-book ratio of 11.38. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations.
