Around 12 companies including IT major Wipro, real estate giant DLF and others have fixed July 27 (Monday) as the record date for their respective dividends, effectively making today (Friday) that last day for interested investors to buy the shares to be eligible for payments

As per Sebi's T+1 settlement cycle, investors must buy a company's shares at least one trading day before the record date to ensure the shares are credited to their demat accounts in time, and they become eligible for the corporate action. Accordingly, today is the last opportunity for investors to buy the shares so that they are credited to their accounts by Monday, making them eligible for the dividends.


Wipro dividend

IT major Wipro earlier this month announced an interim dividend of Rs 2 per equity share along with its Q1 results, with the record date being fixed on July 27. The company said its board of directors considered and approved a dividend of Rs 2 per equity share (face value Rs 2 each) during its meeting, which will be paid on or before August 14 this year.

This comes after the IT major’s Rs 15,000 crore share buyback last month. Wipro had declared an interim dividend of Rs 6 per share earlier this year, and Rs 5 per share in July last year. The company has so far declared 38 dividends since May, 2000 and the stock has a dividend yield of 6.29%, according to data on Trendlyne.

DLF dividend

Real estate major DLF will pay a final dividend of Rs 8 per share to its shareholders, with the record date being fixed on Monday

DLF has declared 23 dividends since September, 2007, and currently has a dividend yield of 0.93%, as per Trendlyne. The stock has gained more than 5% in one month but fell around 7% in 2026 so far and more than 23% in one year.


Persistent Systems dividend

IT player Persistent Systems accounts for the highest dividend payout in the list of stocks turning ex-record date on Monday. The company will pay a final dividend of Rs 18 per share.

The shares of the company have fallen more than 20% in 2026 so far, but delivered strong returns of nearly 323% in three years and 561% in five years.


Which other stocks have fixed Monday as record date for dividends?

Besides Wipro, DLF and Persistent Systems, nine other companies have set July 27 (Monday) as their record date for dividend distributions, making today the last day for interest investors to buy the stocks to the dividend rewards.

Among these, industrial and automotive battery major Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Ltd. announced a final dividend of Rs 5.20 per share. Specialty chemical producer Deepak Nitrite will distribute a final dividend of Rs 7.5 per share, while cable manufacturer Universal Cables has declared a final dividend of Rs 4.5 per share.

Telecommunication and power cable maker Vindhya Telelinks has approved a final dividend of Rs 6 per share, and Birla Cable will pay a final dividend of Rs 1.25 per share. Building material supplier Everest Industries announced a final dividend of Rs 1 per share, while cement and engineering firm KCP will pay a final dividend of Rs 0.50 per share.

Rounding out the group, non-banking financial firm Tata Capital Ltd. fixed a final dividend of Rs 0.5699 per share, and rating agency CRISIL has also scheduled its corporate dividend action for Monday.
