Dishman Pharma surges 6% on clarification for receipt of USFDA warning letter

NEW DELHI: Shares of Dishman Pharmaceuticals surged over 5 per cent in Wednesday's trade after the company clarified on the news relating to a warning letter from the US drug regulator on the Clovis issue.
In a statement released to the bourses, the pharma company said it had not received any letter of warning from the USFDA.
The scrip surged 6.01 per cent to hit a high of Rs 344.55 on the BSE within the first hour of trade.
"The news item was basically related to Clovis Oncology only and has no relevance with our company," Dishman said in a statement.
