Dilip Buildcon tanks 6% post Q1 results

Total income of the highway developer for the quarter fell to Rs 2,450.27 crore.

The scrip plunged as much as 5.79 per cent to Rs 367.65, while the benchmark BSE Sensex was trading nearly 80 points, or 0.21 per cent, higher at 36,778.
Shares of Dilip Buildcon slipped over 5 per cent in Tuesday's session after it posted a 54.14 per cent fall in consolidated net profit at Rs 102.48 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2019. It had clocked a net profit of Rs 223.47 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

The scrip plunged as much as 5.79 per cent to Rs 367.65, while the benchmark BSE Sensex was trading nearly 80 points, or 0.21 per cent, higher at 36,778.

Total income of the highway developer for the quarter fell to Rs 2,450.27 crore from Rs 2,532.16 crore in the year-ago period.


Total expenses stood almost flat at Rs 2,321.86 crore as against Rs 2,320.21 crore in the year-ago period.

The shares of the company closed 1.92 per cent lower at Rs 382.75 on BSE.
