Deepak Nitrite, Khaitan among top gainers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 352.93 points down at 38,610.33 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Somi Conveyor (up 19.80 per cent) , Gallantt Ispat (up 18.43 per cent) , Chemfab Alkalis (up 12.60 per cent) , BN Rathi Securities (up 12.53 per cent) , Artson Engineering (up 11.27 per cent) , Reliance Chemotex (up 10.58 per cent) , Godavari Drugs (up 9.20 per cent) , Uniply Industries (up 9.15 per cent) , Transchem (up 8.80 per cent) and Jaipan Industries (up 8.77 per cent) were among the top performers.

Deepak Nitrite (up 7.13 per cent) and Khaitan (India) (up 6.75 per cent) too were trading 6-8 per cent higher at around the same time.


The Nifty 50 index was trading 102.45 points down at 11,609.80.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 7 shares were trading in the green, while 43 were in the red.
