Dalmia Securities raises stake in Lanco Industries to 6.87 per cent

NEW DELHI: Lanco Industries today said brokerage firm Dalmia Securities has increased stake in the company to 6.87 per cent through open market purchase.

In an exchange filing, Lanco Industries said that Dalmia Securities bought 11.35 lakh shares or 2.85 per cent stake in the company on December 9.

Following the transaction, Dalmia Securities has 27.35 lakh shares, amounting to 6.87 per cent holding, in the company.

The mode of acquisition was "open market" in the BSE and NSE, Lanco Industries said.

Promoters had 50.78 per cent stake in Lanco Industries as on December-end.

Shares of the company were trading at Rs 22.30 apiece, down 0.67 per cent during the afternoon trade.
