MUMBAI: Shares of capital goods major Crompton Greaves eged up in a weak trade as it bagged an order worth $29 million from PT PLN Indonesia to supply Extra High Voltage transformers.

The order involves supply of 500kV, 275kV and 150kV power transformers, which will be installed across PT PLN's transmission network in Java and Sumatra islands.

The manufacturing of the new orders from PT PLN will be undertaken at Crompton Greaves' transformer factory located in Bogor, Indonesia. The facility is equipped to design, manufacture and test transformers up to 550kV class locally in Indonesia.

At 09:35 a.m.; the stock was at Rs 157.15, up 1.22 per cent, on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 158.10 and a low of Rs 155.60 in trade so far.
