Kochi: CRISIL has upgraded its rating of Technopark Trivandrum to ‘CRISIL A/Stable’ based on the latest review on June 2019.

This is the first time a Kerala-based Electronics Technology Park to have got A/Stable rating during the last 10 years of rating with CRISIL. From D rating in 2014-15, Technopark moved to B, then to BBB and now at A.

The upgrade reflects the improvement in Technopark’s cash flow due to leasing of additional commercial space across its phases 1, 3 and Technocity, leading to 15 per cent growth in operating income in the fiscal 2019.

Technopark in the last couple of years have had some significant investments by global companies such as Nissan, H&R Block, Teranet, etc. The investment into the park has improved the park's cash flow adding stability and credibility in the standing of the park.

This rating reflects the overall health/stability of the park which will attract more global companies to invest at the same time build credibility among financial institutions to support the park's strategic expansion plans.
