Coromandel Fertilizers soars over 5% on strong Q1 results

MUMBAI: Shares of Coromandel Fertilizers Coromandel Fertilisers rose above 5 per cent after the fertiliser maker said its April-June net profit surged to Rs 194 crore compared to Rs 12.97 crore a year ago.

This includes extraordinary income of Rs 159 crore.

At 2:40pm, the company's shares were up 5.5 per cent at Rs 126.70 after rising to a high of Rs 131. The counter clocked a volume of 3,53,153 against two-week average of 17196 shares.
