Compact Disc shares rose 5%

Compact Disc India shares rose nearly 5% after the company said it will set up India's first integrated animation studio at the Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation.

MUMBAI: Compact Disc India shares rose nearly 5% after the company said it will set up India's first integrated animation studio at the Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation.

At 11:40 AM, the share gained 4.96% to Rs 60.35. So far, Compact Disc has seen a high of Rs 149.65 and low of Rs 146.50 on BSE.

The company will initially invest $12.40 million in the studio that will house the latest technology. The studio will be spread over 60,000 sq feet and employ over 300 people. Construction will commence by October this year.
