Compact Disc India to delist; stock surges

Compact Disc India will delist its shares from Indian stock exchanges at a price of Rs 75 per share.

MUMBAI: Compact Disc India will delist its shares from Indian stock exchanges at a price of Rs 75 per share. Due to the on-going dispute with HSBC Bank, the delisting process was delayed, the company said. Its board has decided to settle the outstanding dispute with the bank first, to avoid any kind of uncertainty with the delisting process.

The stock was at Rs 62.75, up 18.62 per cent on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 63 and low of Rs 52.40 in trade so far.
