Colgate declares first interim dividend for current fiscal

For FY 10, the company had declared a first interim dividend of Rs 8 per share and a total dividend of Rs 20 per share.

MUMBAI: FMCG major, Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd, has declared a first interim dividend of Rs 10 per share of Re 1 each (face value) for the current fiscal.

The dividend payout to the shareholders would be Rs 136-crore (Rs 158.6-crore inclusive of the dividend distribution tax) and would be paid on or about August 30, to those shareholders whose names are on the register of members of the company as on August 18, 2010, a press release issued in Mumbai stated.
