Claris Lifesciences promoter sells 10 lakh shares

Aditya Sushil Kumar Handa, one of the promoters of Claris Lifesciences, today sold 10 lakh shares of the drug company.

MUMBAI: Aditya Sushil Kumar Handa, one of the promoters of Claris Lifesciences, today sold 10 lakh shares of the drug company for an estimated Rs 16.20 crore through open market transactions.

According to bulk deal data available with the stock exchanges, Handa offloaded 10 lakh shares of Claris Lifesciences.

The shares were sold at a price of Rs 162.07 apiece, valuing the deal at Rs 16.20 crore.

Meanwhile, Barclays Capital Mauritius purchased 7.5 lakh shares of the drug-firm for Rs 12.15 crore.

Last month, Handa had sold over 17.33 lakh shares (amounting to 2.71 per cent stake) of Claris Lifesciences for Rs 28 crore.

As of June quarter, Handa held 10.50 per cent stake in the drug firm.

Shares of the company fell by 2.5 per cent from their previous close to settle at Rs 164.10 on the BSE.
