CBI registers case against Jignesh Shah

MUMBAI: CBI has registered a case against Jignesh Shah, former MD of commodity exchange MCX, four former chairmen of the erstwhile Forward Markets Commission, which was merged with Sebi in 2015 and six others for allegedly facilitating MCX's getting status of nationwide exchange despite not fulfilling the criteria.

Searches are being conducted by CBI today at nine locations in Mumbai, Gwalior and Shimla.

Jignesh Shah is promoter of 63 moons erstwhile Financial Technologies.
