Canara Bank is planning to raise up to $2 billion from the overseas markets under medium term note (MTN) programme. The fund will be mobilised through its Gift City branch in Gandhinagar, or any other overseas branch, the bank said in a regulatory filing. The bank will mobilise it through issuance of senior unsecured foreign currency bonds.
