Cadila files new drug application; share up nearly 1%
Cadila Healthcare has filed an investigational new drug application for conducting clinical trials for molecular entity - ZYH7, to treat dyslipidemia and metabolic disorders.
The entity has been conceptualised and developed by scientists at Zydus Research Centre.
Starting with its first IND filing in 2005, the company today has four INDs in various stages of clinical trials. NME - ZYH1 for treating dyslipidemia and ZYH for treating pain and inflammation are undergoing Phase II trials, ZYH2 for treating diabetes and the nCB-I antagonist. ZYO1 for treating obesity, are undergoing Phase I trials.
At 10:31 am, the Cadila share was up 0.89 per cent at Rs 307.10. So far, the stock has seen a high of Rs 310 and low of Rs 306.05.
