Buzzing stocks: Suzlon Energy, RCom, Motherson Sumi, ITC, RIL

NEW DELHI: Suzlon Energy with over 14 crore shares changing hands was leading among the most traded stocks on NSE on Monday.

Shares of Reliance Communications (number of shares traded: 5.99 crore) , Motherson Sumi (number of shares traded: 2.85 crore) , NALCO (number of shares traded: 2.19 crore) , Reliance Power (number of shares traded: 1.94 crore) , JP Associates (number of shares traded: 1.72 crore) , YES Bank (number of shares traded: 1.70 crore) , ITC (number of shares traded: 1.54 crore) , GVK Power Infra (number of shares traded: 1.37 crore) and Punj Lloyd (number of shares traded: 1.22 crore) also featured among the most traded stocks on the NSE.

Motherson Sumi was also leading the pack of most active stocks in value terms.


It was followed by ITC (Rs 424.32 crore) , RIL (Rs 390.44 crore), YES Bank (Rs 379.45 crore), Axis Bank (Rs 340.02 crore), Larsen & Toubro (Rs 325.56 crore), Adani Ports SEZ (Rs 308.07 crore), Indiabulls Housing Finance (Rs 291.27 crore), Tata Steel (Rs 256.22 crore) and JSW Steel (Rs 216.03 crore).

The NSE Nifty index was trading 20.80 points up at 10,812.45 while the BSE Sensex was up 105.29 points at 35,976.77 around 11:44 am.
