Buzzing stocks: RCom, SRF, Bharti Airtel, RIL, YES Bank

NEW DELHI: Reliance Communications with over 1.13 crore shares changing hands was leading among the most traded stocks on NSE on Tuesday.

Shares of Reliance Power (number of shares traded: 0.37 crore), Uttam Value Steel (number of shares traded: 0.20 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 0.19 crore), Dewan Housing (number of shares traded: 0.18 crore), PNB (number of shares traded: 0.14 crore), MPS Infotecnics (number of shares traded: 0.14 crore), Rel Capital (number of shares traded: 0.13 crore), Balrampur Chini (number of shares traded: 0.12 crore) and Vedanta (number of shares traded: 0.12 crore) also featured among the most traded stocks on the NSE.

SRF (Rs 38.14 crore) was leading the pack of most active stocks in value terms.


It was followed by Bharti Airtel (Rs 36.19 crore), RIL (Rs 35.79 crore), YES Bank (Rs 34.84 crore), Jubilant Food (Rs 32.72 crore), Dr. Reddys Lab (Rs 26.08 crore) , Zee Entertainment (Rs 25.15 crore), Infosys (Rs 20.88 crore), DHFL (Rs 20.57 crore) and Reliance Capital (Rs 19.73 crore).

The NSE Nifty index was trading 9.60 points up at 10,921.85 while the BSE Sensex was up 33.22 points at 36,615.96 around 09:18 am.

In the Nifty index, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (up 1.97 per cent), Hero MotoCorp (up 1.09 per cent), Eicher Motors (up 0.98 per cent), Bajaj Finance (up 0.94 per cent) and Indiabulls Housing Finance (up 0.85 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Bharti Airtel (down 2.35 per cent), Vedanta (down 1.24 per cent), Bharti Infratel (down 0.92 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services (down 0.76 per cent) and Tata Steel (down 0.54 per cent) were the top losers in the Nifty pack of stocks.
