Buzzing stocks: Infosys, YES Bank, IndusInd Bank, Sun Pharma

NEW DELHI: Uttam Value Steel with over 0.20 crore shares changing hands was leading among the most traded stocks on NSE on Monday.

Shares of SRS (number of shares traded: 0.18 crore), Infosys (number of shares traded: 0.11 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 0.08 crore), Celestial Bio (number of shares traded: 0.07 crore), Axiscades Engineering (number of shares traded: 0.05 crore), Allahabad Bank (number of shares traded: 0.05 crore), Emco (number of shares traded: 0.03 crore), Kellton Tech (number of shares traded: 0.03 crore) and Vivimed Labs (number of shares traded: 0.03 crore) also featured among the most traded stocks on the NSE.

Infosys (Rs 84.47 crore) was leading the pack of most active stocks in value terms.


It was followed by IndusInd Bank (number of shares traded: 9.04 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 7.82 crore), Sun Pharma (number of shares traded: 6.43 crore), InterGlobe Aviation (number of shares traded: 5.37 crore), RIL (number of shares traded: 5.33 crore), HDFC Bank (number of shares traded: 5.01 crore), TCS (number of shares traded: 4.29 crore), Asian Granito (number of shares traded: 4.12 crore) and Avenue Supermarts (number of shares traded: 4.04 crore).

The NSE Nifty index was trading 22.55 points up at 11,575.05 while the BSE Sensex was up 81.26 points at 38,817.49 around 09:16 am.

In the Nifty index, Infosys (up 4.58 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (up 2.87 per cent), YES Bank (up 2.28 per cent), UPL (up 1.50 per cent) and IndusInd Bank (up 1.36 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Indian Oil Corporation (down 0.58 per cent), Hero MotoCorp (down 0.57 per cent), Housing Development Finance Corporation (down 0.42 per cent), Vedanta (down 0.42 per cent) and Zee Entertainment Enterprises (down 0.38 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
