Buzzing stocks: IEX, YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, SBI

NEW DELHI: Indian Energy Exchange with over 0.64 crore shares changing hands was leading among the most traded stocks on NSE on Friday.

Shares of YES Bank (number of shares traded: 0.52 crore) , Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 0.19 crore) , Astron Paper & Board Mill (number of shares traded: 0.09 crore) , Tube Investments of India (number of shares traded: 0.08 crore) , SBI (number of shares traded: 0.05 crore) , KSS Ltd (number of shares traded: 0.05 crore) , Sanwaria Consumer (number of shares traded: 0.04 crore) , Usha Martin (number of shares traded: 0.03 crore) and Punj Lloyd (number of shares traded: 0.03 crore) also featured among the most traded stocks on the NSE.

Indian Energy Exchange (Rs 76.85 crore) was also leading the pack of most active stocks in value terms.


It was followed by YES Bank (Rs 27.48 crore), Tube Investments of India (Rs 25.79 crore), Astral Poly Tech (Rs 19.53 crore), Axis Bank (Rs 17.60 crore), RIL (Rs 14.13 crore) , SBI (Rs 13.96 crore), Astron Paper & Board Mill (Rs 9.95 crore), ZEEL (Rs 9.90 crore) and ICICI Bank (Rs 9.71 crore).

The NSE Nifty index was trading 8.35 points up at 10,713.15 while the BSE Sensex was up 38.33 points at 36,131.8 around 09:17 am.

In the Nifty index, Indiabulls Housing Finance (up 1.30 per cent) , Tata Steel (up 1.12 per cent) , Maruti Suzuki India (up 1.00 per cent) , Vedanta (up 0.99 per cent) and JSW Steel (up 0.91 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Zee Entertainment Enterprises (down 2.96 per cent) , YES Bank (down 1.02 per cent) , NTPC (down 0.90 per cent) , Axis Bank (down 0.82 per cent) and Bharti Airtel (down 0.74 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
