'BUY' or 'SELL' ideas from experts for Monday, 19 December 2016

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty are likely to open in red on Monday following global cues. SGX Nifty was trading 25.50 points, or 0.31 per cent, down at 8121.50 in morning trade, indicating a weak start for NSE Nifty index. Asian peers Hang Seng, Nikkei and Shanghai indices were down by 0.83 per cent, 0.22 per cent and 0.18 per cent, respectively. The 30-share Sensex closed 29.51 points, or 0.11 per cent, down at 26489.56 on Friday, while NSE Nifty settled 14.15 points ,or 0.17 per cent, down at 8,139.45.

On Wall Street, the Dow Jones Industrial Average index closed 8.83 points, or 0.04 per cent, down at 19,843.41 on Friday, the S&P 500 index lost 3.96 points, or 0.18 per cent, to 2,258.07 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 19.69 points, or 0.36 per cent, to 5,437.16.
