Burnpur Cement, Pratibha among 27 stocks that will settle on T2T basis from Thursday
NEW DELHI: Asian Hotels (West), Globus Spirits, Burnpur Cement and Pratibha Industries are some of the BSE B Group stocks that will be shifted to trade-to-trade from Thursday.

The list included Surana Solar, Lloyds Steels Industries, Tips Industries, Zenith Computers and Alchemist among others.

When a stock enters trade-to-trade group, any buying and selling on the counter is required to be delivery-based at gross level. No intraday netting off or square off facility is permitted in such a case. The securities which form part of the 'Z group' are compulsorily settled on a trade-to-trade basis.

The criteria for shifting Securities to/from for settlement on T2T basis are decided jointly by the stock exchanges in consultation with Sebi. A scrip to be transferred to this group generally has market capitalisation under Rs 500 crore, volatility greater than three times BSE Sensex volatility over a period of six fortnights, and huge price variation over the benchmark index. PE level too is considered. Counters where derivatives products are available are not considered.

According to BSE, the action is reviewed on periodic basis based on price earnings ratio, price variation vis-à-vis the market movement, volatility, market capitalisation, volume variation, client concentration and number of non-promoter shareholders

The process of identifying the stocks for moving to trade-to-trade basis is done on fortnightly basis. Here's the full list.
